After founding Thinking Machines Lab in February 2025, she secured the largest seed funding round in history, $2 billion at a $12 billion post-money valuation, in July. In October, Thinking Machines released its debut product, Tinker, an API for fine-tuning language models, empowering researchers and hackers to experiment with models by giving them control over the algorithms and data.
