Felicia Curcuru

Company: Binti
Title: CEO
Industry: Technology

Standout achievement in 2025: Launched responsible AI tools for social services in collaboration with Anthropic and expanded adoption through improved foster-family licensing nationwide.

Introduced to the world of child welfare when her sister adopted two children, Curcuru began volunteering as a court-appointed special advocate for foster youth in San Francisco. Through those experiences, she saw an opportunity for technology to improve outcomes for families and children, modernizing the child welfare system. That led her to launch Binti in 2017.

The company's software is now used by more than 550 agencies across 37 states to support child welfare efforts, serving more than 100,000 families and 12,000 social workers. Curcuru has also led Binti's push into AI. In 2025, it launched Binti AI, a responsible AI platform developed in collaboration with Anthropic's AI for Good initiative that aims to address one of the most pressing challenges in child welfare: social worker capacity.
