Standout achievement in 2025: Played a central role in taking Navan, the corporate travel company, public, the third IPO in her career as a veteran chief financial officer.
Butte has accomplished a rare feat for a CFO, and rarer still for a female CFO: she has taken three companies public.
Over the last two years, she transitioned from a board member at travel, payments, and expense management platform Navan to its CFO. Butte played a key role in the company going public on the Nasdaq in October as one of the architects of its path to the stock market, leading investor meetings and its roadshow; she was a critical force behind the capital raise and deal execution amid extreme macro uncertainty.
Starting on Wall Street and serving in a variety of roles over her career, including tenures as a banker, research analyst, board director, and CFO, Butte also helped lead the transition of the New York Stock Exchange to a for-profit public company in 2006.
In December, Navan announced that Butte would be stepping down as CFO and will serve as an advisor.
