An MIT-trained computer scientist, Song launched EliseAI to target administrative inefficiencies in the real estate market. Its AI covers leasing, renewals, payments and maintenance workflows across over 700 property owners and operators, including 75% of the nation's 50 largest property managers. The technology is connected with work on over one in six rental units nationwide.
The New York City-based company surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue last year and doubled its workforce to more than 450 employees. Song led the company to a $250 million Series E fundraising round from Andreessen Horowitz, which doubled its valuation to $2.2 billion.
With its new funding, EliseAI doubled down on a move into the healthcare sector that began in 2023, targeting high administrative costs and long patient wait times. It now runs patient scheduling and call centers for healthcare practices.
