While conducting research at Harvard, Anderson identified critical gaps in donor organ transport standards that placed patients at risk.

Her work to find new organ technologies led Anderson to co-found Paragonix in 2010, now a leader in its industry, supporting safer organ transplants for thousands of patients awaiting life-saving donations. 

In 2025, Anderson led Paragonix through a landmark year following its acquisition by Swedish medtech company Getinge. That included strong revenue growth, the launch of devices that complete the company's portfolio across major organs, global expansion, and advancing new innovations that address logistical challenges in transplantation.
