Vincent C. Lewis

Vince Lewis serves as Associate Vice-President of Entrepreneurial Initiatives for the University of Dayton, Executive Director of the university's nationally ranked center for entrepreneurship and President of UD's joint venture with Dayton's Entrepreneurs' Center, The Hub powered by PNC Bank.

Having spent the bulk of his career running entrepreneurial firms from startups to $20 million in revenue, Vince has grown and exited multiple ventures. After taking over his families' industrial automation business in the 90s, Vince and his team grew the business to #1 in the world in their product segment and eventually sold the business to Schneider Electric, a $25 billion global power and control business. Vince led the creation of Schneider's electronic sensing business in the US, the Schneider Electric Sensor Competency Center. After leaving Schneider Vince and his wife Wendy founded 4 Iron Development Group (dba Logos@Work), growing it from $100k in sales in 2007 to over $2 million. The business was acquired in a strategic sale by a private equity investor in 2021. Since joining the University of Dayton, Vince has collaborated with university and community partners to lead the creation of the Arcade Innovation Hub and the Greater West Dayton Incubator as well as numerous other experiential learning programs in business and entrepreneurship.

Vince is a lifelong Daytonian, has a Bachelor's Degree from Western Kentucky University, A Master's from Antioch University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Owner/President Managed Program. In his role at the University of Dayton Vince also serves as a full-time faculty member focusing on strategy and entrepreneurship. He also serves on the boards of the Downtown Dayton Partnership, Dayton's Entrepreneurs' Center and the 6888 Kitchen Incubator. He serves on the advisory boards of Projects Unlimited, Prime Controls and Kerber Sheet Metal.
