Dr. Rutherford is a Professor, Johnny Pope Chair, and Doctoral Program Coordinator at Oklahoma State University. He received his PhD from Auburn University.Â
He has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles in top entrepreneurship and management journals and is the author of the book: Strategic Bootstrapping. Additionally, he has presented over 100 manuscripts at international, national, and regional conferences.
Dr. Rutherford's experience is in new and small firm consulting. He has provided consulting services to hundreds of organizations of all sizes.Â
