Mike Polcari serves as the VP & Chief Architect at 23andMe. Since 2008, Mike has worked with a talented group of engineers, scientists, product designers, and security professionals to build and secure 23andMe's commercial products. These include 23andMe's innovative DNA Ancestry Test, the world's first FDA cleared direct to consumer genetic testing service, and 23andMe's Research Portal. Mike has held engineering roles at Salesforce.com and Merrill Lynch.
Mike holds a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University, and an MS in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University.
