George Turner was appointed Chief Commercial & Technology Officer in February 2019, and is responsible for revenue management, distribution, property systems, digital and voice, technology, and information security.

George previously spent a decade as IHG's Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Company Secretary, with responsibility for overseeing our approach to risk and assurance, information security and compliance.

George is a solicitor and qualified to private practice in 1995, working for DLA Piper. Prior to joining IHG, George spent 12 years with Imperial Chemical Industries PLC, where he held a number of key positions, including Deputy Company Secretary.
