Anuj Dhanda is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Albertsons Companies since December 2015. In this role, he partners with business leaders to leverage technology in creating a competitive advantage by advancing data insights, scale, omni channel customer experience, innovation and efficiencies for the company. He is responsible for the company's IT architecture, application platforms, data analytics, infrastructure and information security.

Anuj has over 25 years of experience in leading business and technology functions in financial services and retail industries. His experience spans business-to-consumer technology, merger integration, strategy and business re-engineering, omni channel customer experience, data analytics and machine learning, cloud migration and modernizing technology platforms to meet current and future business needs.

Anuj began his career at JP Morgan Chase (formerly Chemical Bank) in strategic planning and business reengineering. He joined PNC in 1995 to design and implement small business lending and progressed to hold a number of leadership roles in business banking. He then led a technology enabled transformation for the Consumer Bank and was appointed to the Bank's CIO in 2005, followed by a promotion to EVP and CIO for PNC Financial Services Group. In 2013, Anuj joined Giant Eagle, a leading retailer in the Midwest, as the CIO and Head of Digital Commerce.

Anuj has been active in the professional and philanthropic causes including the CIO Council for Greylock, President's Council for Oracle, former Chairman of the Board at the Mattress Factory Museum, board member at Carnegie Museum of Art and United Way of Allegheny County. He has been recognized by CIO100 and other organizations multiple times.

Anuj received both his MBA and Ph.D. in Finance from Rutgers University.
