The offer mentioned below for the Hilton Honors American Express Card, Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card, The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card, and Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card is no longer available.
American Express is currently offering limited-time welcome bonuses on its Hilton cards. Several of these offers include a Free Night Reward, which is incredibly valuable as it can be used at the vast majority of Hilton locations.
These offers end on April 15, 2026. If you're interested in opening a new card to help offset the cost of your next vacation, here's what you can earn with these Hilton credit card welcome bonuses.
Hilton Honors American Express Card
Welcome offer: You can earn 70,000 Hilton points and a Free Night Reward after spending $2,000 on purchases within the first six months of account membership. Offer ends April 15, 2026.
Additional information: The Hilton Honors American Express Card is the only no-annual-fee Hilton-branded card available and includes complimentary Hilton Honors Silver elite status.
Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card
Welcome offer: You can earn 130,000 Hilton points and a Free Night Reward after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first six months of account membership. Offer ends April 15, 2026.
Additional information: The Free Night Reward you earn as part of this welcome offer is in addition to the Free Night Reward you can earn after you spend $15,000 in a calendar year.
The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card
Welcome offer: You can earn 175,000 Hilton points and a Free Night Reward after spending $8,000 on purchases within the first six months of account membership. Offer ends April 15, 2026.
Additional information: You can also take advantage of up to $240 in Hilton credits every year (up to $60 back per quarter) for eligible purchases made directly at Hilton properties, and you receive complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status simply by having the card.
Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card
Welcome offer: You can earn 175,000 Hilton points and a Free Night Reward after spending $6,000 on purchases within the first six months of account membership. Offer ends April 15, 2026.
Additional information: With the Aspire card, you also receive a Free Night Reward every year after you renew the card. You can also earn two additional Free Night Rewards each year; you'll earn one night when you spend $30,000 on the card in a calendar year and a second night when you spend an additional $30,000 (at least $60,000 in total) on the card within the same calendar year. You'll also receive complimentary Hilton Honors Diamond status and up to $400 in Hilton resort credits each year (up to $200 back semi-annually).
Hilton Amex welcome bonus eligibility
All of the Hilton credit cards are issued by American Express, and the issuer typically limits you to earning the welcome bonus once per lifetime per card. That means if you have or have had a specific Hilton card before, you're unlikely to be able to earn the bonus from that particular card again.
However, each card is considered a different product. So if you've previously had the Hilton Honors American Express Card, that shouldn't negatively affect your chances of qualifying for the Hilton Aspire or the Hilton Surpass.
