The offer mentioned below for the Chase Sapphire Reserve for BusinessSM is no longer available.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve for BusinessSM (see rates and fees) features the same premium travel perks as the consumer Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees), offering over $2,500 in annual value for business owners and entrepreneurs on the go.
Since its launch in June 2025, the business card has offered an enticing welcome bonus — but that offer is ending soon. Right now, you can earn 200,000 points after spending $30,000 on purchases in the first six months of account opening.
This offer is only available until 9 a.m. EST on Jan. 22, 2026, so it's your last call if you're considering this card. Here's what else you can expect with the Sapphire Reserve for Business:
Overall take on the new Sapphire Reserve for Business
The Sapphire Reserve for Business is Chase's first business card in the Sapphire line. It joins the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees) and the Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees).
While Chase currently offers business credit cards under its Chase Ink line, the Sapphire Reserve for Business provides more premium offerings. You can think of it as a direct rival to The Business Platinum Card® from American Express and the Capital One Venture X Business Credit Card.
The Sapphire Reserve for Business' $795 annual fee makes it one of the most expensive business cards on the market. Offering over $2,500 in annual value, the card is paired with a generous, limited-time welcome bonus that ends Jan. 22, 2026, at 9 a.m. EST. In the meantime, you can still earn the 200,000-point welcome bonus, worth $4,000 via Chase Travel, for a total card value of over $6,500 during your first year.
Further, employee credit cards are available at no extra cost. While employee cards have the same purchase and travel protections, they don't include higher-tier benefits like airport lounge access or hotel rewards status.
With a focus on statement credits balancing out the relatively large $795 annual fee, the Sapphire Reserve for Business is following a similar path to other premium credit cards. For prospective cardholders looking to maximize the card's value, it's important to ensure the Sapphire for Business's credits align with your travel and business needs. Some of the statement credit categories, like DoorDash and Giftcards.com, can be used for employee appreciation, and Google Workspace contains a suite of AI-powered tools for your business.
Earning rates
The Sapphire Reserve for Business earns elevated earnings in the following categories:
- 8X points on Chase Travel℠ purchases
- 5X points on eligible Lyft rides through Sep. 30, 2027
- 4X points on all flights and hotels booked directly
- 3X points on social media and search engine advertising (no cap)
- 1X points on all other purchases
Some of these categories are available with other Chase business cards, such as the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card (see rates and fees), offering 3X points on advertising and 5X points on Lyft rides. But the Sapphire Reserve for Business stands out for having no cap on advertising spend. Plus, the 4X rate on directly-booked flights and hotels is a decent return for frequent business travelers (and serves as a good alternative if you can't find what you're looking for via Chase Travel).
Benefits and perks
The Sapphire Reserve for Business has over $2,500 in annual value for business owners, including credits for travel and credits that can help you run your company. The value is pretty evenly split, with over $1,300 in travel perks and more than $1,200 toward business expenses:

When using your credit at The Edit properties, cardmembers who stay at least two nights will also get complimentary benefits like a $100 property credit, daily breakfast and room upgrades when available. This benefit is not available for employee cardmembers. Purchases that qualify will not earn points.
After spending $120,000 in a calendar year, you'll unlock the following additional benefits:
- IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite Status
- Southwest Rapid Rewards A-List Status
- $500 Southwest Airlines credit when booked through Chase Travel (for Southwest Airlines flights booked through Chase Travel each calendar year)
- $500 credit for The Shops at Chase, a new online shopping experience for cardholders that includes brands such as Breitling and Tumi
The Sapphire Reserve for Business also features the Points Boost accelerator, which allows you to redeem Ultimate Rewards® points for up to 2X value on select airline tickets and hotels booked through Chase Travel. Otherwise, it's a fixed 1 cent per point.
