Capital One is reimagining the airport lounge experience.
Now open in Washington D.C.'s Reagan National Airport, Capital One Landing is a new culinary-focused concept launched in partnership with Michelin-starred chef José Andrés. Whether you need a quick caffeine fix or want to sit back and enjoy a made-to-order meal, the new space has you covered.
While the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture X Business unlock complimentary access through the Partner Lounge Network, you don't need to be a cardholder to experience Capital One Landing. CNBC Select details how to access this experience and what to expect inside.

How to access Capital One Landings
With the right Capital One credit card, you can receive free or discounted access to Capital One Landings. You can enter up to three hours before your flight departs and must present a boarding pass for a same-day departing or connecting flight (no visits on arrival).
If you don't have an eligible Capital One card, you'll pay a $90 fee per person per visit. Alternatively, you can access the à la carte 'On the Fly' quick-service restaurant experience, which is open to the public.
Cardholder access
The best way to access Capital One Landing, as well as the more traditional Capital One Lounges, is with the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One Venture X Business.
Both cards offer unlimited visits to Capital One Lounges for yourself and two guests per visit ($45 for additional guests), through the Partner Lounge Network. However, access to Capital One Landings is slightly different — you're limited to a single guest and will pay a discounted rate of $45 for each additional guest. Children under two years old can join you for free.

What to expect at Capital One Landing DCA
The Capital One Landing at Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is located in Terminal 2 near Concourse D. It's open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, while the quick-service counter On The Fly is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
This is the first Capital One Landing concept, with another location at New York's LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in the works.
Food and beverages
The Capital One Landing experience was designed through a partnership with Michelin-starred chef José Andrés. The menu features a variety of Spanish dishes, including spanish omelets and olive oil pancakes in the morning and croquetas, gambas al ajillo and gazpacho in the afternoon and evening. Hot items can be ordered à la carte using QR codes, while everything else is available at a tapas bar.
The lounge will also feature rotating interactive carts throughout the day featuring everything from mimosas in the morning to cheesecake in the afternoon and gin and tonics in the evening. There's also a full bar with made-to-order cocktails, espresso-based drinks and a unique selection of wines and beers that have both Spanish and DMV origins.
If you're in a rush, Capital One cardholders and non-cardholders can purchase packaged food, snacks and beverages to-go from Capital One's quick-service restaurant experience On the Fly. Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders receive 50% off purchases at On the Fly.
Amenities
Capital One Landings aren't full-fledged lounges, and that's by design because they're at airports that primarily serve shorter-haul domestic flights. The purpose of these spaces is to provide a restaurant-quality airport dining experience. You won't find rest pods or showers here, though there still are essentials like power outlets at every seat, high-speed Wi-Fi and luggage nooks.
Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture X Business Credit Card holders can make advanced reservations, monitor capacity and jump on the waitlist through the Capital One app.
