Capital One lounges offer luxe amenities, ranging from locally sourced food and craft cocktails, to relaxation rooms, showers and high-speed Wi-Fi. There are now five Capital One lounges open in the U.S., plus a Capital One Landing experience, with additional locations in the pipeline.

Capital One lounge locations
Capital One currently has five airport lounges:
- Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), in Terminal D near Gate D22; open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Denver International Airport (DEN), at Concourse A near Gate 34 on the Mezzanine Level; open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), in the Main Terminal directly after TSA PreCheck; open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), in the main area of Terminal 3, on Concourse D, on Level 2 near Gate 50; open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), in Terminal 4's retail hall, open 24 hours a day.
All lounges offer complimentary premium food and beverages, grab-and-go refreshments, high-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated work zones and plenty of power outlets. Some locations provide additional amenities, such as shower suites, yoga rooms, relaxation rooms with nap pods and even Peloton bikes.
Capital One Landing
Separate from lounges, Capital One Landings are essentially airport lounge-and-restaurant hybrids with tapas-style plates, drinks and essential amenities like Wi-Fi, luggage nooks and convenient power outlets.
There is one Capital One Landing already open at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and another one in the works at New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA).
How to access Capital One lounges
There are a few ways to access Capital One lounges, and you don't necessarily need to be a Capital One cardholder to get in.
All visitors must present a boarding pass for a same-day departing or connecting flight, meaning you can't access the lounge upon arrival at your final destination. You can visit a Capital One lounge or Capital One Landing up to three hours before departure (based on availability). All children age two and under get in free with an adult.
Free access
The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture X Business Credit Card provide unlimited access to Capital One Lounge and Landing locations for the primary cardholder, with some of the previous benefits being adjusted.
The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is a premium credit card with a myriad of benefits and a lower annual fee than other high-end cards with similar features.

Beginning Feb. 1, 2026, Venture X Rewards additional cardholders (authorized users and account managers) will be required to pay $125 each to get lounge access. The complimentary guest passes are also going to be a thing of the past, and, instead, passes will range from $25 to $45, depending on the age of the guest and the type of lounge. Guests two and under will continue to have free access.
Effective the same date, similar changes are happening to the Venture X Business card with the removal of complimentary passes for additional cardholders, whom will then cost $125 each. Primary Venture X Business cardholders will continue to receive complimentary access for two guests for Priority Pass™ lounges. Additional cardholders will also have the ability to get two complimentary guests (after, $35 per guest).
Primary cardholders who spend $75,000 or more across their Venture X account, Rewards or Business, per calendar year will be able to bring in two complimentary guests to Capital One lounges and one complimentary guest to Capital One Landings.
Paid access
Regardless of what credit cards you have, you can visit Capital One lounge and Capital One Landing locations for a $90 per person per visit fee. All of the other entry requirements apply.
Certain Capital One cardholders, like those of the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card, are eligible for a discounted entry fee of $45 per person per visit.
The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card has a reasonable annual fee and earns flexible travel rewards, which makes it a great travel card for beginners or heavy travelers.

As of Mar. 1, 2025, Venture X Rewards and Venture X Business cardholders no longer have direct access to Plaza Premium lounges. However, cardholders will still have access to many Plaza Premium locations through their complimentary Priority Pass membership.
