Akshay Jain

Akshay Jain is the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Jain Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for dysferlinopathy, a rare genetic muscle disease. The Foundation is recognized for its strategic, science-driven approach to accelerating therapeutic development and fostering collaboration within the global research community. 

Mr. Jain earned his degree in Finance from New York University. In addition to overseeing the Foundation's operations and initiatives, he manages its endowment as well as his family's investment office. 

Beyond his work with the Foundation, Mr. Jain serves on the Board of Directors of Berkshire Hathaway Assurance Corporation and First Berkshire Hathaway Life Insurance Company. He is also the Lead Director of Four Lions Capital, a hedge fund specializing in investments in India.
