How to get presale tickets for Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour through Citi

Your Citi credit or debit card can score you presale tickets to Beyoncé's upcoming tour.

Citi is an advertising partner. Citi is no longer accepting applications for the Citi Custom Cash® Card product as of May 28, 2026.

Beyoncè — the most nominated artist at the 2023 Grammys — just announced her Renaissance World Tour. Queen Bey, as she's popularly called, will be performing from May to September across the United States, Canada and Europe.

Citi cardholders can currently sign up for an exclusive presale through Verified Fan, one of the best chances you have to score seats to see Beyoncé live. The ticketing website says it expects there to be more demand than there are tickets available for her shows. (This sounds all too familiar, huh Swifties?)

Citi cards that offer presale ticket access

For those wanting to see "Queen Bey" in her element live, your best bet is to have a Citi card in your wallet that can give you access to the bank's exclusive presale. Citi's presale is available to all personal credit and debit cardholders. Unfortunately, Citi's small-business debit and credit cardholders do not get access.

Not a Citi cardholder yet? Consider a Citi credit card that provides an instant credit card number so you don't have to wait for your card to arrive in the mail. Per Citi, you can request instant access with the following credit cards:

The above cards were provided by Citi but industry reports suggest you may also be able to get instant access with the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® World Elite Mastercard® and the Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi (see rates and fees).

Make sure you write down your card number once provided because you won't be able to see those numbers again until the physical card arrives. Applying online today makes sure that you receive your card number before the presale is live.

Beyond just Beyoncé presale tickets, Citi offers its cardholders special access to exclusive events and experiences through the Citi Entertainment portal. Citi includes everything from music and sports, to arts and cultural events. Cardholders can search by their city or zip code, event date range and event/artist. And the biggest perk is that Citi cardholders can get tickets or VIP packages before non-Citi cardholders for specific events.

How to get Citi presale tickets for Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour

Since demand for Beyoncé's tour is so high, she's using Verified Fan to help boost your shot of getting tickets. Verified Fan is powered by Ticketmaster and the company says registration helps create a less crowded ticket shopping experience for fans, as well as helps filter out buyers looking to resell tickets.

If you're a personal Citi credit or debit cardholder, you can currently register for an exclusive presale powered by Verified Fan. But keep in mind that registration does not guarantee tickets. A lottery-style process will determine which registered Verified Fans get an access code the night before the Citi Presale, inviting you to shop for tickets. Even then, tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you don't receive an access code, you may be put on the waitlist. Waitlisted fans may get an access code later on if any tickets remain.

How to sign up for Citi Verified Fan Registration

  1. Visit the ticketing website during the registration period and choose which group you'd like to move forward with for Citi Verified Fan Registration. Registration groups are divided by city and how long each registration group is open varies.
  2. Sign in to Ticketmaster or create a new account and select the show you'd like to attend.
  3. Use the first six digits of your Citi debit or credit card (your promo code) to register for the Citi Verified Fan Registration. Once complete, you'll receive a confirmation email.
  4. Verified fans will be notified the night before the Citi Presale

Three registration groups

  • Group A: Chicago, East Rutherford, Washington DC, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Houston. Citi cardholders must register by Feb. 2 at 11:59 p.m. EST. The Citi presale will run from Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. through Feb. 8 at 6 p.m., or while supplies last.
  • Group B: Minneapolis, Boston, Tampa, Miami, San Francisco, Seattle and Dallas. Citi cardholders must register by Feb. 9 at 11:59 p.m. EST. The Citi presale will run from Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. through Feb. 15 at 6 p.m., or while supplies last.
  • Group C: Philadelphia, Nashville, Louisville, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, St. Louis, Glendale, Kansas City and New Orleans. Citi cardholders must register by Feb. 16 at 11:59 p.m. EST. The Citi presale will run from Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. through Feb. 22 at 6 p.m., or while supplies last.

Bottom line

If there's one thing we know about Beyoncé fans, it's that they're loyal and will do anything to see her live. That means acting fast and taking advantage of Citi's early presale access to make sure you are ahead in the BeyHive line.
