Stav Ziv is a contributors editor at CNBC Make It. She was previously the deputy editor at The Muse, overseeing careers and work content, and a staff writer at Newsweek, where she covered stories for every section of the print magazine and every vertical online including culture, news, and science. Stav's writing has also appeared in publications including Dance Magazine, The Forward, Fast Company, The Atlantic, and Newsday. She graduated from Stanford University with a degree in history and a minor in dance and earned her master's degree at Columbia Journalism School. If she's not at her computer, chances are she's at a dance performance.
