Kelsey Neubauer has been a personal finance reporter for CNBC Select since 2023, writing about mortgages, home equity and the housing market. Previously, she covered real estate and housing at Business Insider and New York commercial real estate for Bisnow. She's passionate about telling unique stories and making financial information accessible to everyone.

Kelsey started her journalism career at the University of Vermont, where she was the editor-in-chief of the award-winning Vermont Cynic. She covered the state of Vermont for the nonprofit newsroom VTDigger before moving to New York to earn a master's in journalism at Columbia University.
