Julia Galef

Julia Galef is the host of the popular "Rationally Speaking" podcast, in which she explores the differences between reason and nonsense, likely and unlikely, science and pseudoscience. She is also the author of "The Scout Mindset: Why Some People See Clearly and Others Don't." Julia co-founded the Center for Applied Rationality and has consulted for organizations such as OpenAI and the Open Philanthropy Project. Her 2016 TED Talk "Why You Think You're Right Even If You're Wrong" has been viewed nearly 5 million times.
