Acer expands local manufacturing under ‘Make in India’ initiative: CEO

Acer CEO Jason Chen said India has become the company’s second-largest market as the Taiwanese PC maker strengthens its local presence with assembly lines. He added that Acer is diversifying its supply chain with manufacturing in countries such as Vietnam and Thailand, while rising component costs could push PC prices higher.
