Japan's lifting of arms export ban raises tensions with China and tests South Korean relations: CSIS

Victor Cha, President, Geopolitics and Foreign Policy Department, and Korea Chair of CSIS, says China is unlikely to welcome Japan's rearmament, while South Korea might push back, but still remain a quasi-ally of Japan's. He adds that Japan is moving toward military normalization without formally revising its pacifist constitution.
