TSMC was prepared and can manage the helium shortage in the short-term: Analyst

Daniel Heyler of EFM Asset Management says TSMC's prowess in recycling, large inventory buffers, and priority status with helium suppliers means it will be able to handle the shortage of the gas due to the Iran war. He also says that higher material costs in semiconductor manufacturing should not significantly affect prices and margins, but energy costs in Taiwan are a greater risk to the company.
