Economist sees China policy diverging from Asia as stagflation risk looms

Carlos Casanova, Senior Economist of UBP, says China has more "wiggle room" than the rest of Asia to provide policy support in a downturn. However, he believes Beijing would take a more targeted approach. Casanova is concerned about emerging Asian economies such as India, Sri Lanka and the Philippines that run structural deficits.
