I was on an Emirates flight to Dubai that turned around twice because of Iranian missiles

Emma Graham, CNBC's Middle East bureau chief, was on one of the first flights back to the United Arab Emirates after U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran grew into a wider regional war. She was on holiday in Goa when the war began and thought returning home would be impossible for some time. But she boarded an unexpected flight to Dubai that turned around — then back again — because of the threat of Iranian missiles.
