First look at Nvidia's Vera Rubin AI system — 1.3 million components and 10 times more efficient

Nvidia's stock has skyrocketed since the unveiling of its first server system for AI data centers, Grace Blackwell. Now, it’s poised to ship its next generation, Vera Rubin, later this year. With 1.3 million components from more than 80 suppliers across 20 countries, making the system involved monumental orchestration. Nvidia says Vera Rubin will deliver 10 times more performance per watt than its predecessor. CNBC’s Katie Tarasov got an exclusive first look to see how it all came together.
