Telefónica CEO: Europe needs large tech companies to scale and compete

Marc Murtra, Chairman and CEO of Telefónica, says Europe needs to take bigger risks and enable its leading tech companies to scale further so they can compete globally. He added that he is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela, where the company operates, but noted that Telefónica’s infrastructure and services there continue to function normally.
