Why speed isn't selling EVs

In terms of performance, lightning quick acceleration and ever-rising top speeds, EVs are leaving gas cars in the dust. But not when it comes to sales. At least in the U.S., EVs are struggling to keep customers interested. CNBC test drove a few at M1 concourse in Pontiac, Michigan to see how they performed, and asked a range of fans and experts what EVs need to continue growing their share of the market.
