The direct price war in China's EV sector has tapered off: Macquarie Capital

Eugene Hsiao of Macquarie Capital says that Beijing's anti-involution push has diminished the direct price war between electric vehicle makers in China, and that the quality of the vehicles will be the battlefield for 2026. He also observes that legacy automakers are becoming "more Chinese", and that there isn't much need for government support in the sector at the moment.
