China flexing its ability to disrupt tech supply chains with its latest rare earths export controls

Cory Combs, head of rare earths and supply chain research at Trivium China, says that China can meet its strategic objectives even if it's not able to perfectly implement and enforce its new export controls on rare earth element. He says a lot hinges on US-China relations and trade negotiations, which have been hindered by issues of miscoordination and miscommunication.
