India’s EV targets ‘bold but realistic’, says EY India

Somesh Kumar, Partner & Leader of Power & Utilities at EY India says that India has laid a strong foundation for electric vehicle adoption. He adds that while the penetration target by 2030 is ambitious, it is achievable thanks to strong momentum in two and three-wheelers. Government policy support and component manufacturing will be key to making the electric vehicle story a success.
