Surveillance business model of the internet fuels today's tech industry: Signal president

Only a few actors, mostly in the U.S. followed by China, have the recourses to commercialize what we are calling AI and we need to understand AI as a derivative of the surveillance business model which threats our privacy, said Signal's President Meredith Whittaker.
