President Joe Biden served as the 46th president of the United States after defeating Donald Trump in the 2020 election. Kamala Harris served as Biden's vice president, and became the Democratic presidential nominee in 2024, after Biden suspended his reelection campaign.

Biden previously served two terms as vice president from 2009-2017, alongside President Barack Obama.
