Francisco Gomes Neto was appointed President and CEO of Embraer in May 2019. He has extensive experience in the management of companies in the transportation sector in Brazil and overseas. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in business administration, as well as an MBA in finance and control.
Gomes Neto has 20 years of CEO experience leading companies in Brazil and the United States. Prior to Embraer, he led the Marcopolo group, one of the leading bus manufacturers in the world, in which time he led the company's transformation process, generating strong sales growth and market value for the business.
He was also CEO Americas of Mann+Hummel and was the President of Knorr Bremse Brasil, a leading company in commercial vehicle control systems.
