Blake Pinyan served on CNBC's Financial Advisor Council during 2025, representing the Financial Planning Association's NexGen leadership.
Pinyan is a senior financial planner and tax manager at Anchor Bay Capital in Carlsbad, California. He is also a certified financial planner and an enrolled agent.
In addition to his responsibilities with his advisory and tax business, Pinyan has devoted a significant amount of time and effort to impacting the next generation of financial planners.
Pinyan was the 2024 chair of FPA National NexGen. During his tenure with the group's leadership, he led the initiatives of a NexGen Development Path, Mentorship Program Partnership and Career Path Guide. He has continued to serve as a volunteer leader in 2025 as the past chair, with a focus on educating students from universities across the country about career paths in financial Planning and what steps they can take to break into the industry.
