Market banners:

One of the first steps a Pro subscriber should take when getting started with their subscription is setting up market banners. Stay focused on what matters to you by setting the tickers shown at the top of your CNBC, Pro and Watchlist pages to get a constant, real-time read on market data important to you; whether you are a Fed and interest rate watcher, commodities trader, or have any number of other interests. Subscribers can select from stocks, indices, ETFs, currencies and more to keep what is most important to you top of mind. 

Price targets: 

It's important to understand where the larger expert and thereby investor universe believe a stock will trade at in the future — first, as a measure of expected return, but in the case of contrarian investing, what the general prospects are for a stock and where you might differ. CNBC Pro provides that perspective in an easy-to-access and digestible tool called the Analyst Consensus snapshot. Available on quote pages for a vast array of stocks, the tool provides the highest, lowest and average price target given by Wall Street firms to help inform your investment decision. Stock ratings: 

Also available in the Analyst Consensus snapshot are stock ratings, which are a great way to evaluate opportunities across companies and industries. They help measure risk relative to reward, including comparisons across industries that are typically not comparable due to their different dynamics. While one company may have a higher price target, seemingly more appealing than the next, ratings provide a confidence level in those projections. Stock screener: 

Another powerful way to use statistics like these and more is via the Pro Stock Screener.
