Here are the biggest calls on Wall Street on Thursday: Morgan Stanley raised its price target on Disney to $160 from $135 Morgan Stanley raised its price target on the company ahead of its fourth-quarter earnings report on Thursday and said Disney is beginning the "long climb" in to "streaming success." "With a supersized global streaming push and (hopefully) a vaccine ahead, we are confident F21 will be trough earnings. Disney begins the long climb to streaming success and cyclical recovery well equipped, but execution challenges remain. We expect ambitious plans revealed at 12/10 investor day. RBC initiated Nike as outperform RBC said in its initiation of Nike that the stock was a "best-in-class global athletic play." "While not inexpensive, we expect the stock can work as the 2nd derivative of NKE's top line recovery accelerates and gross margins likely land better than expected. ... .We see NKE as a best-in-class global athletic play, with its Consumer Direct Acceleration strategies supporting a multi-year mid-high teens EPS CAGR through FY26." Morgan Stanley downgraded Salesforce to equal weight from overweight Morgan Stanley downgraded the stock due to concerns over slowing growth. "At CRM 's current growth, scale and market cap, an increasing focus on free cash flow and earnings is likely necessary for further price appreciation. However, subscription model dynamics and management's growth philosophy may make that difficult near-term, pushing us to an EW rating." Oppenheimer named Costco as its favorite holiday idea Oppenheimer said Costco was its "favorite tactical play" for the 2021 holiday season and is "best positioned" to benefit due to "strong" consumer demand. "As we look across our broader food retailing/discounter and beauty coverage, we now rank COST as our favorite tactical play through the holiday season and into early 2021. We believe the company is best positioned to benefit from strong consumer demand in a number of categories from paper products, food, CE, and home-related products during the holiday period." Northcoast upgraded Wendy's to buy from hold Northcoast said in its upgrade of the fast food company that it's "well-positioned" for growth in 2021. "We are raising our rating to BUY and setting a price target of $28, convinced that Wendy's is well-positioned to drive growth in 2021 after recovering lost sales since Covid-19 began to spread. Our rating increase anticipates stable, incremental breakfast sales; growth in digital / delivery as consumers appear less price-sensitive despite higher third-party menu prices; and continued consumer demand for off-premises/drive thru." Deutsche Bank raised its price target on Nvidia to $500 from $450 Deutsche Bank raised its price target on the stock and said it expects a solid third quarter earnings report when the company releases results next week. " NVDA should continue to deliver, but bar remains high. We expect NVDA to deliver a solid beat and model F4Q above Street driven by an expectation of an extra week of revenue that may not be fully accounted for in Street estimates."
